France Ligue 2 – Brest v Le Havre Preview (24/8/18)

Match Preview

Brest have been very inconsistent this season and can’t quite get going. When two key players Faussurier and Court are back fit then I think they will be more dynamic and offer extra threat. But right now I’m not convinced too much by them. Their fixtures haven’t been that easy in all fairness and again they face a tricky tie tonight facing Le Havre. The visitors are a very very strong defensive team and only conceded one goal all year. The problem for HAC is scoring goals. New signing Tino Kadewere who cost £2m won't be fit until October and they badly need a finisher. If they could be trusted to convert chances here then I think they will win. But I would say a low scoring draw 0-0 or 1-1 is most likely instead. For those who like H2H statistics, a massive 16 of the last 17 meetings have all ended UNDER 2.5 goals. This fixture is usually very low scoring!
