France Ligue 2 – Grenoble v Brest Preview (21/9/18)

Match Preview

Grenoble were involved in a wild 4-2 win last week and to be honest I could see something similar again tonight. Prior to that match Grenoble had relied upon defensive solidity this season but they suddenly have all sort of injuries to their back line. At least 3 of the starting 4 are missing here, along with a few other niggling injuries. They just weren't the same defensively but the good news was that their offense finally came alive. The likes of Chergui and Socota who had previously showed plenty of potential finally managed to deliver. I think this will be a tough match for them against a Brest side that is on the up. They have won their last 3 games and we know they are always so strong on the road under the management of Jean Marc Furlan. Even better news is that new summer signing Yoann Court is finally fit enough to be included in the squad. He could come on for a substitute cameo role and cause plenty of problems with his great skill. I can definitely see Brest winning this game but I think the better bet is over 2 goals. All things considered there is no reason why this match won't be open and contain plenty of chances and really I think this goal line should be 2.5 or at least 2.25.

Prediction: 1-3

Recommended bet 1 unit:  Over 2 goals @1.87
