Kristiansund remain unbeaten but have drawn 4 out of their 6 games. As per usual they have been very well coached by Christian Michelsen and in attacker Amahl Pellegrino possess one of the red hot players in the league right now. He seems to have transformed his career at KBK and already bagged 7 goals this season. Pellegrino is top dollar but the whole of this side is usually really well drilled. Michelsen likes to rotate around his squad so predicting the starting XI is never that easy. We know they will be in some sort of 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 and are very strong at home though. It doesn’t appear that anyone significant is doubtful for this game. They recently re-signed powerhouse midfielder Amidou Diop but whether he is physically ready or obtained the work permit needed I’m not sure.
Stabaek remain inconsistent and have probably enjoyed the seven day break. They looked tired and beaten physically last weekend against Rosenborg, a match they lost 0-3. I think Stabaek will be more competitive here in a fixture that is difficult to predict. I’d probably lean towards a tight home win, something like 2-1. But at an odds-on price I’m not particularly interested in backing Kristiansund. Over 2.5 is also a possibility but once again the price isn’t that great and Stabaek on their day can be well organised and hard to penetrate defensively.
