Here we have a clash of styles between Sarpsborg, a big under sort of team who keep things tight facing Aalesund who simply can’t defend. Sarpsborg had a rocky start to the season, losing all of their first five games but have since responded well with only 1 loss in 6. Sarpsborg have kept four clean sheets during this period and operate in a 3-4-3 system which can be hard to break down when it reverts to a 4-5-1. The squad is quite stable right now with only midfielder Anton Saletros a major injury in terms of importance to the team.
Key Aalesund playmaker Niklas Castro is suspended and this is a huge blow for the visitors. He finally came to life in midweek during the 3-2 victory against Start which finally got Aalesund off the mark in terms of victories this season. The big issue for then is conceding goals and I just don’t think that they can fix such a problem for a while. Aalesund will give it a go here and in Fridjonsson upfront they have an in-form striker. Somewhere you know that Aalaesund will self destruct and gift Sarpsborg a goal or victory but I’m not interested in the hosts at a price of 1.60, this feels too short.
