Kristiansund were in some good form before the international break. They won 5 of their last 6 games so the two week hiatus probably came at the wrong time for them. As per usual, Christian Michelsen has done an excellent job here at KBK and they are as high as 5th in the standings. Kristiansund have only lost once at their own stadium this year and have scored the third most goals out of anyone in the league. Star man has been Amahl Pellegrino who leads the scoring charts in the Eliteserien with a whopping 15 goals! He has been totally red hot all year and capable of scoring a goal from anything. Centre back Dan Ulvestad is rated doubtful due to injury and so is midfield unit Amidou Diop.
Viking also head into this match in good form. They are unbeaten in four games and won their last two consecutively. The most recently was an excellent 3-2 victory vs Molde in which they probably played their best football of the season. One bit of bad news is that star left back Adrian Nilsen Pereira looks like being sold to Greek club PAOK and this means that Rolf Vikstol will take his place in the team. Viking haven’t been very good defensively all year but Vikstol is a big downgrade in this spot. Viking will have to lean on their attack force to get them something out of this match but the good news is that Velon Berisha has been in excellent form upfront.
I think this game is a clear over and it’s a shame the line is over 3.25. This is one of those horrible situations where I am really confident about an over but the wrong line and price offers very little value. It’s not even as if the Over 3.25 price is above the 1.90 mark. I am going to have to reluctantly refrain from betting here but I see something like a 3-2 or 3-2 home win.
