Conclusion & Betting analysis

I think both teams will probably fancy winning the game. Niort are a tough side to judge because at the start of the season they seemed to rely on defence to propel them through games. However, in recent weeks their matches have been far more open and wild and they’ve shown a surprising goalscoring touch. Dunkerque meanwhile, are more negative merchants who tend to be fairly conservative. They tend to look quite toothless in attack at times and I think betting against them here is a good idea. Niort are the better team anyway and seem quite comfortable in their own surroundings this season. The -0.25 handicap on the hosts is pretty decently priced around the even money mark and I see them edging this game something like 1-0 or 2-0.

Prediction: 2-0

Recommended bet: Niort -0.25 Asian Handicap @1.98
