Conclusion & Betting analysis

I have been a regular backer of Paris FC this season but I think they could hit some troubled waters soon. Their fixture list for the remainder of November and December is pretty brutal and by Christmas I expect their seven point lead to be cut down. They have to face the likes of ESTAC, Grenoble, Sochaux and Toulouse and this clash vs Auxerre today will be far from easy. It is actually a battle between the two highest scoring teams in Ligue 2 but I suspect Paris FC will miss striker Gaetan Laura who is injured. Auxerre, despite their inconsistencies are one of the best sides in the league and are definitely capable of winning. I have noticed a few signs of Paris FC wavering recently. Both Pau and Caen could have left this venue with points had they taken their chances and even the 1-0 success at Dunkerque was slightly unconvincing. I am certainly not writing off Paris FC but I see a draw or an away victory today. An over 2.5 match wouldn't surprise me.
