Conclusion & Betting analysis

This is a fairly tricky game to call. Niort should be well rested after a 2 week break but could lack some rhythm. They looked poor during the 1-4 defeat to Pau last time out and although they had ten men for the majority of the contest it was a worrying display. Sochaux are hard to beat but simply draw too many games. You never know when their next 0-0 will turn up and I suspect this will be a close tight game. Under 2 goals was a bet I considered but 3 of the last 4 Niort matches all went over 2.5 goals so it’s probably best swerved. Sochaux can’t really be relied on around the 2.10 mark to win, even if they are the more likely team to win.
