Conclusion & Betting analysis

Auxerre let me down last week by failing to beat Auxerre but I am more than willing to back them again here. This is a team that has been firing quite well recently and they should have enough about themselves to see off Niort. The visitors are no mugs and will offer a threat but are often a bit too naive and leave holes at the back. Last week was a typical example when they lost to Toulouse last (1-2). I think a price around even money is certainly worth taking because Auxerre have the quality and class to outscore anyone. This will probably be an over 2.5 affair as well and I’d have probably taken a nibble of that bet too if the line was better. Something like a 3-1 or 2-1 home victory is what I expect.

Prediction: 3-1
