Conclusion & Betting analysis

The price on Auxerre has been all over the place in the last 24 hours. At one point into the early hours of the morning they were as big as 2.50 in some quarters, but those odds have readily dropped during the day. This is pretty much a must win affair for AJA. They are 7 points behind the playoffs spots but could put some pressure back on the top 5 by picking up victory. Too many draws have cost Auxerre recently but we saw some signs vs Valenciennes last time out that they are back in form and it was really only defensive errors which cost them (2-2). Le Havre are better on the road but they aren’t a team I particularly rate and seem safe enough in midtable right now. The visitors have lost 3 of their last 4 games and not really lit anything up recently. Auxerre are worth chancing on a -0.25 Handicap around the 1.75 mark. They have drawn too many recently which makes me think this cover is needed, but this is a good chance to bounce back with a win.

Prediction: 2-0

Recommended bet: Auxerre -0.25 Asian Handicap @1.75
