Conclusion & Betting analysis

Rodez have certainly been in better form but Chambly are fighting for their lives, so nothing is guaranteed here. The home team usually wins this H2H matchup but at a price of 1.80 I’m not really interested in Rodez. They still need points themselves to secure survival but there isn’t such an imminent need and I sense Chambly will be the more urgent. They fought like proper dogs vs Ajaccio last time out and despite only winning one match on the road all season a collection of draws have stifled opponents. With a gun to my head I would still predict Rodez to probably win, but I can't be sure. An over 2.5 game wouldn’t shock me either because it might end up being a frantic sort of affair. I did look at backing over 2 goals but overall I feel like this fixture is best left alone.

Prediction:  2-1
