Conclusion & Betting analysis

I think Sarpsborg are worth backing on a -0.25 handicap here. I watched Mjøndalen at the weekend and Brann really should have beaten them. Just a combination of good luck and some good saves kept it at 0-0. Mjøndalen actually should have then won but conceded a 96th min equaliser which might be quite deflating. They looked very leggy in that match and Sarpsborg have had an extra day to recover here which might be crucial. The simple fact is that they are the better team and have picked up results against the likes of Glimt, Molde & Rosenborg recently which is quite impressive. I see this as a similar type of match to when Mjøndalen lost at Lillestrom a couple of weeks ago. Eventually they will succumb to too much pressure and we see something like a 1-0 or 2-0 home win. A price of around 1.85 on the -0.25 line seems pretty good to me. There is of course a risk of a draw and this is likely going to be a low scoring contest but Sarpsborg get the 3 points in my opinion.

Prediction: 2-0

Recommended bet: Sarpsborg -0.25 Asian Handicap @ 1.85
